Core Group Consulting Welcomes Dan Kist To The Team
Houston, TX – Core Group Consulting is pleased to announce the addition of Dan Kist to its team of expert consultants, bringing extensive experience in marine technology, subsea systems, and industrial automation.
With over 16 years of diverse technical experience, Kist brings valuable expertise in maritime operations, hydraulic fracturing technology, and advanced simulation systems. His appointment strengthens Core Group's capabilities in marine technology consulting and offshore operations.
"Daniel's background and experience expand on our existing team's electrical expertise. We are excited to have him join our team," said Dan Ramsay, the President of Core Group Consulting.
Prior to joining Core Group, Kist served for eight and a half years as an Electro-Technical Officer with Hornbeck Offshore, where he managed vessel power systems, controls, navigation, and communications equipment. His responsibilities included overseeing shipyard modifications and conducting crucial proving trials and DP FMEA trials.

Kist's experience also includes two and a half years with Keane Frac, where he specialized in electronic troubleshooting for large diesel engines and sensor systems in hydraulic fracturing operations. Additionally, he spent five years with Medical Simulation Corporation, maintaining and troubleshooting advanced simulators used in cardiac surgeon training.
He holds a Master of Science in Subsea Engineering from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, providing a strong theoretical foundation to complement his practical experience.
